Newburgh Free Academy, Main Campus Unveils Three Updated Cafeterias
On Friday, September 21st, Newburgh Free Academy, Main Campus welcomed , NFL’s organization, and retired NY Jets full back, Mr. Tony Richardson for a ribbon cutting ceremony that unveiled three updated cafeterias.
American Dairy Association North East awarded Newburgh Free Academy with a cafeteria makeover which will enhance the school’s Breakfast After the Bell program and increase student access to healthy and nutritious foods. The organization, in partnership with ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ and Fuel Up to Play 60, upgraded wall signage, digital signage, and seating for the three cafeterias.
American Dairy Association North East also awarded a check to Heritage Middle School to upgrade their breakfast cart.
Research shows eating breakfast at school improves student academic performance, health and behavior. In partnership with ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ District, American Dairy Association North East aims to increase student access to school breakfast.
