Mrs. Kan's Inaugural Writers Celebration
Scholars in Mrs. Allison Kan's first grade class at GAMS participated in a virtual publishing celebration of their first narrative series. Scholars learned about story writing and wrote their own stories throughout the year. Scholars wrote, illustrated, and published their own books for the event. Each scholar got dressed up and took turns reading their stories and sharing their favorite part of their book with an in-person and virtual audience.
To celebrate their big day, scholars enjoyed a one song dance party at their desks!
