Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)
Applications are now being accepted for the federally-funded Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) which covers households with income up to 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). Applications for a new, state-funded program for households with income between 80 and 120 percent AMI will be accepted through the ERAP application portal beginning September 15.
Recent legislation created another new program to provide rental assistance for landlords whose tenants have left their rental property or who are unwilling to apply for ERAP. Ahora se aceptan solicitudes para el Programa de Asistencia de Alquiler de Emergencia (ERAP) financiado por el gobierno federal que cubre a los hogares con ingresos de hasta el 80 por ciento del Ingreso Medio del Área (AMI).
