Holiday Card Contest Winners | 2022
Students across the district in grades K-12 submitted their artwork virtually and in person for the 9th annual contest. Of 20 submissions, three student designs were selected.
The winners’ artwork is being made into invitations for this year’s Virtual Superintendent's Celebration of the Arts. The Celebration will be posted on the website starting on February 13. The scholars were recognized at a regular Board of Education meeting on December 13, 2022.
Our Grade 2 winner is Gaza Asaidi from Balmville school. Her teacher was Ms. Kayla Allen, and her work is entitled “Penguin.”
Our Grade 5 winner is Freddy Rolan from Balmville school. His teacher was Ms. Kayla Allen, and his work is entitled “The Snowy Morning.”
Our Grade 9 winner is Yesenia Vaquero from NFA North. Her teacher is Ms. Liz Deyo, and her work is digital, and is entitled “Winter Night.”
