GAMS "YOUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT!" SEL Career Explorations Program Week 2 & 3
The Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS) hosted the final two events for their SEL Career Explorations Programming themed "Your Future is Bright" on ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ, March 16th and 23rd. The purpose of the weekly event was to promote mindsets and behaviors that enhance the learning process and create a culture of college and career readiness for all students grades K-5. The SEL Career Explorations Programming centers around ASCA Domain/Standards guiding school counseling programs to help students (1) understand the connection between school and work (2) plan for and make a successful transition from school to post secondary education and/or the world of work. This program is an "exploration series" and students are exposed to a variety of careers/trades weekly through the final event held March 23rd.
