HOH Library Troupe Member Shares Her Poem at Newburgh Free Library’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Jai’da Chambers proudly reads her poem, Jai’da’s Vision, Newburgh is … (below). She dug deeply and worked diligently for days to express all that Newburgh means to her. Jai’da was invited to open the ribbon cutting event for the new Local History Room and Tech Hub because she exemplifies a young, civic-minded scholar proudly sharing her love of our City. She was pleasantly surprised to see her poem on display in the library and recognizes the significance of her work becoming a resource that inspires others. Jai’da received many compliments for her confidence and creativity.
