REMINDER 1/2 Day for PreK-8 Scholars | ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵs 6/15 & 6/22
Hello Goldiebacks!
This is a friendly reminder that there is a 1/2 of school for all Pre-K through 6th grade scholars today, ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ, June 15th and next ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ, June 22nd. The district will be closed this Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. Additionally, the district will propose making the last day of school, Friday, June 23, 2023 a half-day of instruction for all students at the next Board of Education meeting, scheduled for June 20, 2023. This change will not be official until it is voted on by the Board of Education, however, the district wanted to share the proposed change in advance, so families can prepare to arrange childcare if needed.
Important Dates for the remainder of the school year:
JUNE 2023:
June 1, 14-22 - Regents Exams
June 15th - Half Day for students in grades PreK-6 only | Early Dismissal Schedule
June 19th - District closed - In observance of Juneteenth
June 22nd - Half Day for students in grades PreK-6 only | Early Dismissal Schedule
June 22nd - Graduation
June 23rd - Last day of school/Half Day for all Students** | Early Dismissal Schedule
JULY 2023:
July 3rd*- District closed - In observance of Independence Day
July 4th* - District closed - In observance of Independence Day
