26 NFA Music Students Explore Music Majors at SUNY New Paltz
Twenty-six NFA music students attended the “” event hosted by Dr. Adam Fontana and the faculty at SUNY New Paltz. Our students participated in classes in Music Therapy, Conducting and Sound Exploration, and Composition. Our high school scholars contributed meaningful and insightful dialogue in the class discussions, talked with current music majors, had lunch and toured the campus. Our students were incredible ambassadors of Newburgh Free Academy and represented our department, school and district with the utmost professionalism. It was a wonderful experience and the NFA Music Department looks forward to continuing this tradition next year and strengthening the relationship between our department and the college.
