NFA P-TECH Scholars Work to Solve Problems; Learn from Professionals
NFA P-TECH scholars engaged in an event of learning, team building, and problem solving. First year students had the opportunity to rotate throughout different rooms of activities. One room hosted a presentation from a representative of SUNY Orange, discussing the rigor of the program that students would engage in throughout their time in the NFA P-TECH program. A second room hosted IBM professionals, as well as alumni working in the cyber security field. The third room hosted an activity where students had to work together to solve a problem. The students were challenged to move their "pumpkin patch" using the tools at hand and the guidelines provided. The group that was able to move the quickest earned bragging rights!
