PSA | PFAS Blood Testing in the City of Newburgh
New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) is conducting another round of PFAS Blood Testing in the City of Newburgh, NY area.
The blood testing is available at no cost to any current or former resident, worker, or student in Newburgh, or the surrounding area. People can participate if they have taken part in any other PFAS blood testing efforts, or if they have never participated in previous PFAS blood testing. Any individual who was previously tested and has moved away from the Newburgh area would need to travel to Newburgh to have their samples collected for this blood testing program. This blood testing program ends February 29, 2024.
