Temple Hill Academy Inducts 21 New Members to National Junior Honor Society
Temple Hill Academy inducted twenty-one new members into the National Junior Honor Society on ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ, May 23rd. Each inductee delivered a statement of gratitude, thanking those individuals who have positively impacted their academic journeys. Current members also delivered speeches regarding the pillars of the honor society - scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship which are represented in the candle-lighting tradition. This year, the ceremony was an extra special occasion that featured the NFA Colorguard, led by Master Sgt. Granda, the Empire Drumline, led by Mr. Dion Placencia, piano accompaniment by Mr. Mathew Camara and a tribute to THA retirees from their former students who were inducted into the society. Graduating members concluded the ceremony with a presentation of roses to their family. Advisors for the National Junior Honor Society are Ms. Lina Lynch and Ms. Caroline Schwind.
