Storm King Art Center & Balmville Scholars Partnership
Students in Mrs. Garcia's class partnered with Storm King Art Center in a year-long project. To conclude their studies, students held a space day where they presented all of their work from throughout the school year and unveiled their piece of art!

Balmville Scholars Combine Literacy Initiatives with Unity

Balmville Scholars Partner to Learn Simple Sentence Writing
Ms. Martin's class at Balmville School read simple sentences to their partners and then the partner had to write the sentence on their white board. Both students had the opportunity to do the activity and both had to assist and/or teach the other.

IBM Volunteers Visit Balmville
This year's project, coordinated by NFA P-TECH alumnus Kyle Villano from IBM, focused on sustainable aviation. Students had the opportunity to be engineers!

Fourth-grade scholars at Balmville learned about science topics and concepts related to animals. They discovered that the structures of animals are essential for survival in their environments.
